THE GAME OF GOD

Operation Policy

Effective October 8, 2026

This document is written in Korean, and the Korean text governs. The English text below is a reference translation.

Article 1 (Purpose)

  1. This operation policy supplements the Terms of Service of THE GAME OF GOD (the "Service") and explains how the Operator runs the Service and restricts certain conduct. If it differs from the Terms, the Terms prevail.

Article 2 (Nicknames and accounts)

  1. Nicknames and ranking nicknames must not contain words that impersonate the operator, dealer, administrator or system, profanity, discriminatory expressions or others' personal information. Impersonating words are rejected when you set a nickname.
  2. One person must not repeatedly receive check-in rank tickets with several accounts or devices, or join the same match with them.
  3. Users in Korea must pass identity verification, and one person may use only one account (Terms Article 5).

Article 3 (Chat)

  1. Do not post profanity, discrimination, harassment, content promoting obscenity, violence or speculative gaming, illegal information, advertising, other people's personal information, or disallowed external links.
  2. During a match, do not exchange private information (your choices, bids, etc.) through global chat or outside the Service to affect the result.
  3. Users can report messages and block senders. The Operator reviews reported messages, deletes them, and can mute the author in global chat for 1 minute to 30 days.
  4. Global chat is kept for 30 days after posting and match chat for 30 days after the match ends, then deleted.

Article 4 (Match etiquette, elimination and leaving)

  1. If you disconnect during a match and do not return within the reconnection grace time, it counts as leaving. Repeated leaving bars you from new matches for a period. Resigning on your own is not counted as leaving.
  2. In a game played with chips, when your in-match chips reach 0 you are eliminated from that game, ranked last in that match and receive no share. The earlier you are eliminated, the lower the rank; players eliminated in the same round tie. In ranked matches, the share of a player who leaves, resigns or is eliminated is not given to others and disappears.
  3. In rooms made with friends and practice matches against bots, a proxy bot may play a disconnected seat.

Article 5 (Cheating)

  1. The following is cheating: (1) automation programs or macros (2) collusion or rank-point funneling with multiple accounts or devices (3) exploiting vulnerabilities (4) trying to obtain other users' private information (5) transferring or lending an account.
  2. The server looks for suspicious patterns using match records and hashes of devices and networks (raw IPs and device identifiers are not stored) and puts them in a review queue. Nothing is sanctioned automatically; the Operator acts only after checking the evidence.

Article 6 (Types of restriction)

  1. Warning: the violation is notified and recorded.
  2. Restriction: you cannot join ranked for a set period.
  3. Suspension: you can't sign in or use the Service for a set period (7 days if unspecified), and open sessions end immediately.
  4. Permanent ban: the account can no longer be used.
  5. An account under review may be held out of season standings until the review ends. Rank points and results obtained by cheating are corrected or taken back.
  6. The level depends on severity, repetition and harm to other users; serious violations can lead to suspension or a permanent ban even the first time.

Article 7 (Rank points and tickets)

  1. Rank points, season tiers and rank tickets cannot be bought, sold or exchanged for money or other items, and cannot be given or transferred to other users. Arranging this, or buying or selling points, tickets or accounts outside the Service, is grounds for permanent suspension.
  2. If rank points moving between the same two users, or received by one user from several opponents, exceed the cap (30 days), the excess goes to no one and disappears, and the operator reviews it.

Article 8 (Operation records)

  1. Every operator action — pausing, resuming or aborting a match, deleting chat, muting, restricting accounts — is recorded in the audit log with a reason. Operators can't see users' private inputs or whispers on the operation screen.

Article 9 (Appeals)

  1. If you disagree with a restriction or chat action, contact customer support with your account details. The Operator will tell you the result as soon as possible.
