Article 1 (Purpose)
- Under the Korean Juvenile Protection Act and the Information and Communications Network Act, the Operator keeps this policy so that young people can use the Service protected from harmful information and excessive spending.
Article 2 (Age of use)
- Only people aged 14 or older may sign up as members, and age is confirmed at sign-up.
- Users in Korea must complete phone identity verification right after sign-up and before the first match, and users under 19 by Korean year-age (Youth Protection Act standard) cannot use ranked, matches with other users, or payments. Before verification they can only browse, read the rules and play practice matches against bots.
Article 3 (Protection from harmful information)
- Content promoting obscenity, violence or speculative gaming, illegal information, and advertising or external links harmful to minors may not be posted in chat, nicknames or in-game offers.
- Users can report problem messages and block senders. The Operator reviews reports, deletes messages and mutes authors.
Article 4 (Payment protection)
- Paid purchases (subscriptions and the like) are for adults only. If a user is found to be a minor or has not completed the adult check, payment stays closed.
- A payment made without the consent of a legal representative can be cancelled by the minor or the legal representative (Civil Act Article 5). In-app payments also follow each store's procedure.
Article 5 (A structure that does not lead to cash or goods)
- Rank points, season tiers and rank tickets cannot be exchanged for cash or goods, and match results do not give cash, goods, gift certificates or anything else of monetary value.
- Rank points and rank tickets cannot be bought with money. A subscription only widens what a user can do, such as ranked matches per day and creating rooms with friends, and gives no points or standing. No rank points change hands in rooms made with friends.
